Chapter Operating Handbook

Our Mission Statement

The Rio Grande Valley Chapter Texas Master Naturalist is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes, more specifically to develop a group of knowledgeable volunteers to provide education, outreach and service dedicated to the study and conservation of natural resources and natural areas within the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.

Educational programs of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Texas Sea Grant at Texas A&M University are open to all people without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or veteran status. The Texas A&M University System, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the County Commissioners Courts of Texas Cooperating.

The documents governing the Chapter will be this Chapter’s Bylaws and the guiding practices found in the Chapter Management and Operations Protocols and the Chapter’s Operating Handbook. In case of conflicting language, first the Chapter’s Bylaws, second the Chapter Management and Operations Protocols shall govern the Chapter’s Operating handbook.
