We started clearing a new area as we seek to extend the trail westward along the road. It’s slow going but feels good to go beyond where we started.
The flower bed we started with is looking good. We brought our own host to extend the hose of the Fish Hatchery site to reach our new plants making watering so much easier.
The buttonbushes we planted are growing! Of course, there is always guinea grass to pull.
It was great to plant our first plants to our new pollinator garden. After mixing 18 bags of compost, our first plants are in.
