After a week away due to weather and the beach cleanup, it was great to get back to Fish Trails.
Barbara had visited during the week to make sure to water the plants so everything looked good. We added a few new plants to fill in some gaps in the upper garden. Of course we had guinea grass to pull and keep at bay. Though the brush pile has yet to be picked up, we added some old vines and grass to the pile.
We were able to clear up to the midpoint to one levee. We will need to consider bridging the gap somehow or leave it as a feature of all levees. We’ll see…
It was a pleasant evening and the sunset brought yet another great view.
